This 3-part podcast mini-series, hosted by Dr. Kweli Zukeri, dives into the rapidly evolving world of Generative AI and its impact on Black communities, Howard University, and beyond. As AI reshapes industries, education, and everyday life, this series unpacks the technology's benefits and challenges through the lens of those working to harness its potential while addressing its risks.

In the first episode, Dr. Zukeri explores the rise of AI and how its underlying biases affect marginalized communities. Discussions with experts illuminate why these biases exist and what we can do to challenge them.

The second episode highlights Howard University’s pioneering efforts to make AI work for everyone. From creating an audio database of African American Vernacular English (AAVE) to revolutionizing healthcare data and training Black data scientists, Howard is on the cutting edge of AI innovation.

The final episode shifts focus to Howard alumni who are leading in big tech and entrepreneurship, showing how their education and experiences have prepared them to thrive in AI-driven industries. This series showcases how Howard University is positioning its community to thrive in the age of AI.
