The National FinTech Center at Morgan State University

Morgan State University’s National Center for the Study of Blockchain and FinTech (The FinTech Center) advances FinTech research and education by bringing together university leaders, HBCU faculty, and students. Since its founding in 2018, the Center has supported innovative blockchain projects and received multi-year grants from Ripple for curriculum development and research. The Norfolk State University Innovation Center (NSUIC) fosters an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Hampton Roads through partnerships with the city of Norfolk, the SBA, and others. Serving as a business incubator, NSUIC promotes job creation, investment, and global engagement. Its support includes events, a co-working platform, startup training, and strategic partnerships. NSUIC also provides space and networking resources for startups and offers mentorship, featuring guest experts in areas like law, accounting, marketing, and HR to guide new and existing clients.
